Utah Arts Festival 2012: Dave Borba

I spent the day at the festival. It was insufferably hot, but I couldn't make myself leave because the art was fantastic, plus these guys showed up.

Dave Borba has been a fixture at the festival for the last five years, maybe longer. His work is hard to categorize. Its a mix of folk art and fine art. Borba is a vintage-inspired interactive mixed-media sculptor. He also makes prints.

I picked up a limited edition print entitled The Wounded Bird Flies Again.
